Academia Events Fundraising Invitations
Guilford’s Cox Elementary School called on us because they needed a new take on their fundraising event promotions. Ink&Pixel rose to the challenge and worked with their volunteer event committees to develop some unforgettable souvenir tees, promo flyers, and even a slumber party invitation that includes a pillow case we screenprinted with glow-in-the-dark ink.
Fourth Grade Stepping Up Ceremony Outdoor Picnic Swag. Regardless of the size of the job (or client), we commit to understanding the impact of our work. For this project, we wanted to make sure that everyone had a blast at the party. And when you’re ten, little moments can potentially ruin the entire day. With help from the teachers we were able to procure sizes prior to the event. Each classroom was gifted a different color shirt, with name tags for each child, teacher and aide. Now, no one had to feel singled out by someone yelling out their size, and all of the children felt confident putting the shirt on immediately knowing it would fit. And we completely eliminated the popularity contest of having your friends sign your shirt, by incorporating every single student's signature into the design.
What better way to get kids excited to come to a winter party then to gift each one a message-in-a-bottle treasure map? Ahoy matey, this party is going to be an adventure!

Promotion for Cultural Enrichment program for the school. These graphics landed in email inboxes, on social media, and in kids' backpacks as flyers. The talent these events bring to the school are nothing short of amazing experiences.
In the wake of the untimely passing of the school's beloved principal Mr. Vince Agostine, the school decided that a large-scale project should finally be completed and dedicated to his life's work and love for the school and its students: the pavilion on the school grounds (nicknamed 'The Shed') was in need of renovation and they saw an opportunity here. Enter Ink&Pixel.
We were first charged with the Shed project itself: collaborating with the volunteer committee to draft concepts for the space, then working with architects, developers, and vendors so that the space improvements would not only be maximized but also be built of lasting quality. Secondly, we worked with the volunteers to build a strategic campaign in order to promote and fund the project. We thoughtfully designed, prepared, and rolled out a meaningful but targeted fundraiser for the school in tandem with the Shed plans.
The campaign and tribute consisted of lead graphics, tees, flyers, posters, and a social media rollout — in a broad but coordinated effort to ensure their funding goals were rapidly met. While we are saddened at the loss of Mr. Agostine, we were honored to be a part of this project which now enters building phases and will soon become part of his lasting legacy in this close-knit community.
